1.1 The VIV Connect App (“App”) has been developed on behalf of VNU Europe B.V. (“VNU Europe”, “we” or “us”) and is intended for visitors and exhibitors of trade fairs of VIV worldwide (“you” or “ you”). With the App you can get information about the VIV worldwide events, network with other visitors and exhibitors and view your e-ticket.

1.2 These terms of use (“Terms of Use”) apply to the use of the App. We request that you read the Terms of Use carefully before accepting them.

1.3 The use of the App is in principle intended for adults. If you are younger than 16, your parents or legal representatives must give permission for the use of the App. By accepting the Terms of Use, you represent and warrant that you are 16 years of age or older, or that you have permission from your parents or legal guardian.


2.1 After downloading the App you will have access to event and venue information. To view your e-ticket, you must register with the same e-mail address for the fair and as a user of the App. To do this, enter your name and email address on the registration page and create a password.

2.2 Your account is for personal use only and it is not permitted to provide a third party access to your account by sharing your username and password with that third party. If you know or suspect that a third party knows your login details, you must change the password immediately and contact us using the contact details in Article 8.

2.3 We reserve the right at all times to block your access to the App, for example in the event that an incorrect username and/or password is entered several times, on suspicion of (providing) unauthorized access or if the App is used in violation of these Terms of Use. Your right to use the App ends with immediate effect when we block your access. If the use of the App is blocked, please contact us using the contact details in article 8.

2.4 You can delete your account at any time by contacting us using the contact details in Article 8.


3.1 The App may only be used in compliance with applicable law and these Terms of Use.

3.2 The User is not permitted to use the App for actions and/or conduct that are in conflict with the Terms of Use, applicable legal provisions, self-regulation and the generally accepted rules of decency and due care. This includes, but is not limited to, the following acts and conduct:
a. circumventing or removing technical provisions that are intended to protect the App or having them circumvent or have them removed;
b. infringing copyrighted works, database rights or otherwise acting in violation of the intellectual property rights of third parties;
c. publishing and/or distributing (child) pornography;
d. (sexual) intimidation or otherwise harassing persons or infringing on their privacy;
e. unauthorized intrusion into other computers or computer systems;
f. reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit this App and the services and information offered through the App in whole or in part without the express prior consent of Jaarbeurs.

3.3 You remain responsible at all times for the correctness of the information provided by you via the App and interactions with other users of the App. VNU Europe is not responsible for the (content of) communication of other users. If you believe that another user is violating these Terms of Use, you can contact us at the email address or telephone number in article 8. If we believe that the user is violating the Terms of Use, we may decide to restrict the access of that user to block the App, in accordance with these Terms of Use.

3.4 For proper security of your information and operation of the App, we advise you to always:
a. use the latest version of the App; and

b. use the original and most current version of the operating system of your phone or tablet;

c. for Android minimum operating system OS11 or for iPhone use at least iOS 13 or higher.


4.1 All intellectual property rights – including in any case copyrights, trademark rights and database rights – that rest on, are contained in or arise from (parts of) the App are vested in us or our licensors.

4.2 Any use of the App and/or (parts) of its content for purposes other than those described in these Terms of Use is not permitted without the prior written and explicit permission of us.

4.3 VNU Europe allows you to upload, share or provide your own content in this App. You guarantee that you are entitled to share this content and that you do not infringe any rights of third parties.

4.4 You agree that by providing your own content in this App, VNU Europe obtains a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process such content solely for the proper operation and maintenance of the App.


5.1 We strive to always provide you with correct and current information via this App, but it may happen that the information contained in the App is incorrect, not current or unsuitable for your intended purpose.

5.2 We strive for reasonable availability of the App and the content. However, malfunctions, limitations, defects and interruptions may occur and are not shortcomings. We will therefore do our best to restore availability as soon as possible.

5.3 To the extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with:
a. your use of the App in violation of these Terms of Use; or

b. consulting or using the App, including but not limited to damage arising as a result of any errors or, incompleteness, incorrect information, malfunctions or interruptions in the App.

7.1 We have the right to:

a. unilaterally change these Terms of Use; and/or

b. extend, change or terminate the (functionalities in the) App.

7.2 In the event of a change to the Terms of Use, we will inform you via the App and you will be given the opportunity to discontinue use of the App if you do not agree with the change.

7.3 The App allows access to external sources offered by third parties. Jaarbeurs is not responsible for these external sources and has no control over these sources. Jaarbeurs is therefore not responsible for the content and availability of these external sources.

7.4 In the event that one or more provisions in these Terms of Use prove not to be binding, this will not affect the validity of the other provisions of these Terms of Use.

7.5 These Terms of Use are governed by Dutch law. All disputes arising from or related to these Terms of Use will be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Central Netherlands, location Utrecht, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
